Kites
On Tuesday, Grandma and Grandpa Fleming gave Grace a kite. Yesterday evening we decided to try it out. It was a warm, but windy evening. We were grilling chicken and decided to get the kite out. We went to the backyard and tried to get the kite up. The wind was strong enough, but it was swirling between the houses. The kite would only stay up for about 5 minutes before diving into the ground. Grace enjoyed it. She stood in the grass, not moving, and pointed at the kite. She especially liked it when it swooped down and crashed. Kris did a good job chasing the kite and getting it back up in the air. We will have to go to a park where we have a little more room.
