Houston Trip.
What a great time we had in Houston. You can see all of our pictures at in the Picture Gallery. We flew out on Wednesday afternoon. Grace had a good nap in the morning and so she didn’t sleep on the plane. We sat in the front on the way to Minneapolis and then near the back on the flight to Houston. Sitting at the bulkhead was great. Grace could get down and play. Everyone came to our room after we arrived and they enjoyed seeing Grace.

Thursday, we spend the day at the Houston Zoo. They have a nice zoo and Grace enjoyed the giraffe, elephants, birds, and the seals. We are going to spend some time at the Madison Zoo this summer. That evening, Paul, David, Dad and I went to dinner with some of Paul’s friends and then went to a bar. Paul was home by midnight.

On Friday, we did a little shopping at a mall and then at the Container Store. We found a great table and chair for Grace.

We had the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner that evening. We had a great time and dinner was excellent. Grace was tired so we had to leave a little early. I was tired from the night before so that was ok.

On Saturday, Kris, Grace and I went to the butterfly exhibit at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. It was expensive for the exhibit, but Grace had a good time looking at the butterflies. There were birds in the dome and she enjoyed those even more. I think that they were easier to see and moved faster.

David and I helped Paul decorate later that afternoon and then had to run back to the hotel to change. Then to the chapel. My cousin, Jim and his wife and daughter, along with my aunt, Ann, and husband, Bill, attended the service. The service was beautiful and was flawless. Kris did a reading and Grace was good the entire time.

Then we went to the reception. The space was great and really fit Paul and Debbie. I took Grace and Kris back to the hotel after the grand march and I stayed until the end.

We flew back on Sunday. Grace did such a great job on the plane that we are already planning our next trip.
